Sampled @ Borefts Pre-tasting. Dark red color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, toasted malts, sweetish and a bitter finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Decent. 7-3-7-3-15.

Pre-Borefts Tasting at the Kim Jung Un Buurtcentrum in Zaandam. Thank you for sharing! Dark brown amber. Nose is overly sweet honey, sugar, figs, candy, BE fruit, sugar,… Taste is very sweet honey sugar, candy, dates, lots of sugar, dates, candy, candy nice sweet honey,… All honey dates candy sweet sugar. Lovely sweet sugary & honey barley wine.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is oxidized, caramel, iron. Taste is toffee, chocolate, iron. Oily mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. A bit too oxidized for me.

Pre-Borefts tasting. 50cl Bottle. Brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of toffee, raisins, sweet, very malty, light floral. Flavour is off, very yeasty, plastic, toffee, raisin, nasty bitterness. Full bodied.

Sampled @ Pre Borefts Tasting 2018. A hazy dark orange brown beer with a small white head. Aroma of strong caramelish malt, oxidized malt. Taste of oxidized red malt, caramel, strong riped fruits.

Pre-Borefts Tasting at the Kim Jung Un Buurtcentrum in Zaandam. Thanks for sharing to the entire RB crowd here! Bottle shared. Pours hazy amber with white head. Sweet malts, raisains, honey dipped rye bread, some cardboard. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at pre-Borefts tasting. Thanks for sharing all! Bit hazy amber with beige head. Raisins, sugary malts, alcohol, brown sugar, bready, cognac, green leaves. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Over medium bodied with a bit dry watery feel. Nooot my thing.

Borefts pre-tasting, 2018. Poured a hazy dark amber colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich, malty, boozy alcoholic, toffee palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
