This second edition of our light, gose-inspired beer had the working title 'Double Glass' due to a significantly higher ABV than the first release. The wort was not made with this (or any) particular beer in mind, but when tasting through our barrel stock two barrels naturally leaned towards this style.
The beer was made from extra pale, minerally worts with fresh East Kent Goldings hops. We added a touch of Cornish sea salt into the blending tank to give a crisp finish, before bottle maturation for ten months.

Level 6 tasting. Cheers Wingman for the bottle. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. A good bright grapey sweetness. Champagne and white wine vibe. Light dry finish gets slightly acid. Nice if a little tart.

Bottle, via the brewery online shop. Hazed pale gold. Dense and lasting white foam. Nose is big on the 3F Armand and Gaston vibe. Preserved lemon and nectarine. Sweaty brett. New leather. Peach stone. Some floral herb. Stunning. Taste is tart and dry, with a lovely fruit sweetness. Mouthfeel is soft and foamy. Super clean too. Lightly tart fruity finish. Sublime.
