Každý rok vaříme speciální, vydatné tmavé pivo pro uvítání chladnějších měsíců - a nejinak je tomu i letos! Tentokrát se jedná o velkou německou sladovou bombu plnou banánových, vanilkových, čokoládových, kokosových a rozinkových chutí s jemnou chlebnatostí. Je také výrazně pšeničné a vyznačuje se tmavě oříškovou barvou a hustým pocitem v ústech.
Every year we brew a special, hearty beer for the return of the colder months and this year is no different. This time around, it is a big German malt bomb, full of flavors of banana, vanilla, chocolate, coconut, and raisin, and a slight breadiness to round it all out. It is also extremely wheaty and features a deep hazelnut color with a slightly thick mouthfeel.

A: hazy brown, small, tan head.
A: banana, toffee, raisin, plum, clove, milk chocolate.
T: sweet banana & raisin, green tea, clove, toffee.
F: herbal hops, dried fruits, spices, warming liqueur-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
All the good you expect from this style.

500ml can. Cloudy, amber colour with minimally late awakening, average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Toasty-nutty, wheaty malty, minimally smoky malty and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, a touch of baked banana, baked apple, raisins, some caramel and dark honey, a touch of clove. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally nutty, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, minimally smoky malty and yeasty spicy, notes of banana, baked banana, baked apple, some dark honey, a touch of clove and nutmeg, weak smoky overtones. Slightly creamy, minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and minimally cloying palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Quite rich and meaty, nice, mildly smoky aspects - good.

0.5 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before September 2025. Very hazy, dark reddish brown with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of caramel, overripe banana, chocolate, clove and some raisins. Rather sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of chocolate, caramel, overripe banana, clove, toasted nuts and some raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, very smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice winter warmer.

Tap at Salon piva. Med-full body, med-high carbo. Lots of clove and general spice character, moderate banana and general esters. Very nice weizenbock, a bit boozy, but nicely so. Overall nice.

(bottle 0,75l from pivniochutnavka.cz) Overall: Very nice warming beer, yet quite drinkable. Aroma: Sweet, banana, light caramel, light spicy, later some alcohol. Appearance: Cloudy brown. Persistent beige head. Taste: Medium sweet, banana, light chocolate, caramel, spicy, very light tart, light alcohol. Palate: Medium body. Creamy texture. Light warm, light sticky finish.

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Hazy, dark amber colored. AROMA- toasted, plums, spicy, clove. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, lightly bitter, some alcohol, the same as aroma. Medium to fuller bodied. Not so rich as it could be, still tasty.

Straight from can. Color: Murky brown, I presume? Off white head. Aroma: Banana, caramel malt. Taste: Quite a lot of banana esters, dark malt, wheat and hints of roasted malt. Herbal and yeasty hints, hints of dark chocolate. Medium body, average carbonation. Dry-ish and hopbittery finish. Moderate to over moderate sweet, moderate hopbitterness going to over moderate at the finish.

Tap at Sibeeria Tap Room. Misty brown body, off-white head. Banana, caramelly maltiness and rosehip in the aroma. Sweetish taste, dry, caramel, banana, herbal hoppiness, mild alcohol, full, vague tart touch helping drinkability. Good stuff.
