On tap at Billie’s, Saturday. Nem keszitettem jegyzeteket, csak pontoztam a sort.

Tap at Drinkoteka - oh wow! Props to Dima for saving this! And thanks S&A again for sharing! Black body, no head. Carob in the tart, oily aroma, coconut, light alcohol, nice! Smooth, pleasant taste, not overly intensive - carob, raisins, chocolate and light alcohol again, the barrel being very well integrated. Very drinkable for 13% as well - respect! I might bitch about Arpus' IPAs often, but they do make some gems in other styles!

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 01/09/24. Pitch black with a khaki head that soon escapes to the edge. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, molasses, mellow barrel, spice. Taste comprises chocolate shavings, port barrel, spice, molasses, brown sugar melt, dried fruits, toffee fudge. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid BA impy ... Port is balanced nicely.

Can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine carbonation, enough for this style. Smooth rich dark malts, abundant dark chocolate creamy cakey goodness. The Tawny Port barrelling adds vanilla and ripe caramelly fruits. Some alcohol spice on the smooth finish. Nice job, the only slight disappointment is that no berry fruits have made it through from the port barrel.

473mL can. Pours black with no head. Aroma is very rich in dark chocolate and port. Flavour has roasted malt, dark chocolate, espresso, and a ton of Tawny port. Moutfeel is silky, slightly heavy. Not much carbonation. Very high impact but not brutal; fantastic use of port barrels.

440ml can. Pitch black with a thin brown head. Aroma of port, dark fruits, dark chocolate. Taste is very rich and sweet, port flavours dominate, oaky, dark fruits, dark chocolate, sweet, warming booze. Full bodied, smooth. Handles the booze well. Really nice but 440ml can is too much for a stout this rich and sweet.
