Can. Pours inky black with a merlin tan head and good lacing. Aroma is heavy vanilla, oreos, bourbon. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Full body.

US Pint can, bought in Bangkok and shared at Bennyβs place in Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a round, frothy, tan head. The aroma is roasty, herbal, light vanilla. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, liquorice, herbal, coffee, light sweet vanilla, warm alcohol, liquorice bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

A lot of vanilla (maybe a bit artificial), some chcocolate, moderately to highly sweet. Taste is along the same lines. Good one.

Can many thanks to Lore. Jet black body with a thin pearl head. Bold vanilla notes in the aroma and the taste with notes of cocoa, chocolate, coconut, heavy cream, raisins and some nutmeg. Smooth, silky and thick. Great beer.

Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop and consumed at home Friday 27th December 2024 shared with Baz listening to Big Special - Post Industrial Hometown Blues after having homemade Pizza for tea. Pours shark eye black with a fast disappearing tan head. Creamy mouthfeel with vanilla, coffee and chocolate in abundance, this is super tasty and is a real indulgence. There is bourbon notes on the nose and this also shows in the mouth but it's never too boozy and even at 14.03% it's so easy to drink. Fabulous.
