Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 19/11/20. Pitch black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate, big marzipan twang, sweet malts, nutty, honey, caramel fudge. Taste comprises sweet malts, chocolate, pistachio, brown sugar dusting, berry fruits, cherry stones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sweetish but balanced climax. Decent.

Pours black with a beautiful initial head. Aroma is very nutty, the pistachio comes through intensely. Lots of dark malts - lots of cocoa and dark chocolate, lactose and honey. Medium body. Flavour is dominated by dark malts but not roasted barley. Loads of chocolate and cocoa, very nutty - noticeably pistachio if one knows. Very sweet but not in an unpleasant way, honey contributes considerably to a distinct sweetness. Touch of coffee. Lactose but not creamy smooth. Lovely milk stout, very nutty. Finishes quite long, chocolatey and sweet.
