As for what you’ll taste, we’ve conjured up a beer hopped with Luminosa, for flavours of peach lemonade, guava, orange peel, and Hallertau Blanc bringing white wine, cassis, gooseberry, and lemongrass tones. These have been backed up with a touch of Citra and super-blend CryoPop® for some proper ripe tropical fruit.

Green with a foamy, white head. Aroma all over the place—melon-like with guave, cough drop and a sprinkling of herbs. Taste is bitter, moderate citric, over a chewy, sweet, malty base. Quite fruity at the end with a moderate, lingering bitterness. Not bad, even if a tad gimmicky.

Keg @ Northern Monk Refectory, Manchester. Dishwashing liquid green with a head. Despite the colour it's a fair hoppy brew, perhaps slightly over-carbonated as it's quite gaseous. Mild sugars and milder fruits.

Can Day 10, Fins Beyond Beer Geek Edition Advent Calendar, Tuesday 10th December 2024, about to cook a Thai Chicken Curry and put on ByteFM. Pours green, very green with a white head. Nice bite, in the mouth it's grapey and a little bit citrussy, might also be a bit of fresh melon there. It's a very good beer that would have probably won against any of the previous beers that we've had in our calendars but today it's up against a very good black IPA that just sneaks it.

Can. A fairly hazy .. erm green beer, small bubbly pale green colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Light crisp pine, nice Luminosa lemonade, sharpish and not over sweet. Soft cooling pine. Looking for and finding Hallertau Blanc - a mild piney grape. Amazed this hop is still around but I guess it makes sense given how faded and uneven Nelson is these days. A slightly floral bitter finish. Interesting! And weird looking!

440ml can. Pours a murky dark green, white head. Aroma of sweet tropical fruits, candied peach, lollipops. Taste is the same, quite sweet but not overly so, candied peaches, tropical fruits, orange and grapefruit, citrusy finish. Medium bodied.
