Taste is chocolatey malt, smoked meaty hints, fruit cake, and liquorice, coffee, with roast bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, light to medium carbonation, boozy roasty malty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can at home picked up from 73 Enid Probably. A thick dark black brown with a fading mid tan head. Aroma is meaty dark roast, cakey malts, burnt cake, light cinnamon spice, warming alcohol, Flavour is composed medium sweet, meaty roast, burnt cake, dried fruit, sticky toffee, boozy fruit cake, light spice, PAlate is oily, super chewy, moderate carbonation. Nice stout baltic portal.

440ml can. Quasi black colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, dark brown head. Chocolately, dark malty and caramel malty as well as minimally nutty and spicy aroma, notes of toffee, dark toffee, fudge, caramel, chocolate, a touch of liquorice root, cinnamon, vanilla, Brazil nut, coffee. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly roasty and chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty and minimally alcoholic, notes of dark caramel, toffee, a touch of burnt caramel, treacle, dry cocoa, some roasty bitterness, some hop bitterness; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and minimally cloying palate, medium, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation. Lots of subtleties in the aroma, relatively simple and homogeneous, almost a bit monotonous taste, a tad too alcoholic - quite good overall.
