Cask at GBBF'16, day two, 10/08/16. Genuine Scottish Beer ... I can tell by the name ... probably brewed on the banks of the Clyde by brewmaster Nessie then flown in fresh to the States! Mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is tangy fruit rinds, biscuit, brown bread. Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, dried fruits, light spice, dates, fruit slice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Fine for style.

Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours clear rich red - brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is musty, meaty, marmite, oxidised malt vibe, dried fruits and fruit cake. The taste is smooth, rather sweet, fruity, jammy berry, fruit cake, drying, wood, tannic astringency and light spice with a very dry finish. Medium body and limited/flat carbonation. A bit fucken sweet and dry/astringent.
