Handpull cask at the Duck & Drake, Leeds. Pours damn near black with a full beige head. Very little aroma on this beer, a little bit of chocolate malt. Tastes out of this world: sweet cherry notes on top of dark malts leads to an nice little bitter finish. Thick body for the ABV, soft carbonation. Very nice.

Cask at GBBF ’16, day one, 09/08/16. Light black with a well appointed tan covering. Nose is chocolate, red berry tones, cherry skins, sweet tunes. Taste comprises toffee, chocolate coated cherry, light roast malts, liquorice. Medium boded, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light roasty bitterness. Decent stout, does what it says on the tin without being overly sweet.

Cask at Sair Inn Bar GBBF, Trade Day, Tuesday 9th August 2016 Pours dark brown with a light beige head. Some cocoa, a little powdery feel, fruity, however I get more cocoa than cherry, it’s very nice though. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.6
