This scrumptious stout is packed with almonds, cacao nibs and coffee, giving it rich flavours of milk chocolate, sweet biscotti and nuts. The addition of oats and lactose gives it plenty of body and a little hint of sweetness.

Nose is pronounced smoke, tobacco, ash, wood, soy, salt, nuts. Taste is soy, leading to chocolate, salt, coffee, fruit, fruity coffee, sour cherry, sour note, more soy, soft almond, ash, tobacco, licorice, plum, Mouthfeel is slick and sticky. Its a complex beer not at all what I was expecting from the flavouring.

440ml can. Pours black with a rocky tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, nuts. Taste of coffee, milk chocolate, roast malts, lactose, almonds in the background, probably a good thing as the chocolate and coffee really shine in this, bittersweet and roasty finish. Medium-full bodied, very smooth, fine carbonation. Great stout.
