750ml bottle with wax top that pours a real dark brown without any highlights. The head is darker, mocha-coloured, fizzing away lightly. Roasted malt, alcoholic nose with a touch of chocolate and coconut. Hints of molasses from the rum and darker malts. The coconut in the taste softens the finish, and lingers nicely. A beautiful, mild bitterness is in the background, with the rum-alcohol warming. Flavours of the roasted malts with a tad honey and cacao powder. A nice dessert Imperial Stout that is well-balanced to not be too rich, with a bit of all playing a nice role in here. A good start to the night!

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some plentiful notes of coconut and light rum barrel notes . Taste is also a mix of black chocolate notes with some crazy amount of coconut in all forms with some light rum barrel notes and light residual sugar notes. Body is full with oily texture with good carbonation with some alcohol notes that are discernible. They have outdid themselves again with finding a way to add even more coconut.

In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, coconut cream, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. On tap at Hautes Plaines location
