375ml (thx, Jonathan M.!) shared with Alex @ home. Appearance: very dark brown with almost no head and some coconut micro pieces floating on top. Aroma: overtoasted coconut (people, why are you still do it?!), sweet, some vanilla. Taste: loads of toasted coconut, a bit fruity, vanilla, very sweet, some roasted malts. Overall: ok.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some vanilla, coconut and light macadamia notes. Taste is also a mix of black chocolate notes with some vanilla and coconut with some residual sugar from the maple syrup. Body is above average with creamy texture and good carbonation with some faint alcohol notes discernible. Enjoyable pastry stout with nice balance.

Dark brown with hardly any highlights, alcohol coating on the glass and a small film over the brew. Started by getting cinnamon in the aromas, but eventually the brownies (cacao) and ice cream combo does come out. Alcohol nose is present and hints of strawberries. The strawberry-chocolate-vanilla dessert continues in the flavours. Maple syrup is blended in there, so not too crazy sweet, but balanced with the rest. Quite a silky mouthfeel, with some building dryness. A good dessert Imperial dark beer with nice spices, chocolate notes and a berry-vanilla touch.
