Nut brown ale brewed exclusively for Wetherspoon’s Real Ale Festival. Distinctive chocolate and caramel notes lead to a smoothness on the pallet, delivered by the addition of oats, leading to a soft, bitter finish, with just the right amount of hop character to offer a perfect balance.

Cask @ JDW Montgomery's Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours a clear deep amber brown, off-white topping. Aroma has some sweet caramel. Taste is perhaps a little harsh, with strong caramel, nutty malts, milk chocolate hints, soft bitterness. A little rough, but generally ok.
