16th Oct 2018. 3rd of a pint in my local Wetherspoon (William Withering, Wellington Shropshire). Dark brown body, slight red hue; off-white affair on top. Malty and fairly sweet with caramel notes in the aroma and taste, some toffee like flavours too. Light bitter finish.

Cask @ JDW Montgomery's Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours a clear deep amber brown, off-white topping. Aroma has some sweet caramel. Taste is perhaps a little harsh, with strong caramel, nutty malts, milk chocolate hints, soft bitterness. A little rough, but generally ok.
