Tap @ Kufle i Kapsle, Warsaw. Quite clear amber body with a tan head. Nice and complex aroma with lots of malt, some caramel, dry fruit and vinous. Flavor is nice and sweet with the same elements as aroma and some wooden flavors in addition. A really well made, balanced ale for slowly sipping with a complex taste. Full bodied and long, rich aftertaste.

(Draught at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 24 Nov 2018) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly sourish nose with caramel, oak wood, dried fruit, apricots and orange peel. Malty, slightly vinous taste with notes of caramel, apricots, oak wood and a mild acidity in a finish with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty with a slight acidity, classic old ale. Nice one.

On tap & Ghetto Something. Aroma is vinous, funky, woody, caramelly and nutty. Pours cloudy amber brown color with large soapy tan-like head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with sweet caramel and toasted malt, following is umami, woody, even slightly smoked, while subtle fruity and vinous acidity is overpowered by the taste of chewy “liquid meat chunk”. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Old ale modernly re-mastered to perfection...
