Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day one, 08/09/17. Lightly hazed chestnut brown with a decent off white covering that clears edgewards. Nose is earthy fruit rinds, figs, dates, spice. Taste comprises tangy fruit, red berry esters, toffee, light oak, tobacco. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter edge. Ok for the style but I expected a little more depth from the 18 months barrel time.

Draft at Borefts Beer Festival '17. Hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of brett, vinous notes, oak, vinegar, tart overripe dark fruit and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Hazy, deep reddish amber with a thin, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, raisins, red grapes and oak. Quite sweet, malty, slightly fruity and a little sourish taste of caramel, raisins, red grapes and lots of oak, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly tart and rather woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 2. Clear brownish color with a red hue coming through, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste sourness, red wine, lightly wood, lightly smoke in the background. Decent body and carbonation. Decent.

At Borefts 2017. Aroma of red wine, oak, brett and lacto sourness. Taste of red wine, lacto sourness, soft cherry, oak and a fruity malty finish. Nice one.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2017. Day 1. dark brownish amber. Nose is weird smoke, smoked spices, oddly medicinal thick smoked malt. Lower smoke in the taste than in the nose, weirdly fizzy, massively, the brandy maybe? Didn’t really get brandy,… fizzy, strange sugary malt. Total mess but somewhat pleasant to drink still.
