Cask @ Tyne Bar, Newcastle [050917]
Golden, clear, thin white head, good lacing
Aroma - citrus hops, soft grapefruit, light pale malt
Taste - bitter zest, light soft sweet pale malt background, more bitterness than fruits, spicy notes from the rye, not convinced citra hops is working well with the rye
Palate - light body, fairly bitter. Finish is quite dry, soft bitter zest hops and a bitter spicy rye linger, tail a bit too spicy bitter
Overall - It's OK

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 16th September 2017. Pale gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Intense grassy hoppiness and cheesiness in aroma. Bitter hoppiness in-mouth with a tangy undertone, and a very bitter finish. A brief savoury transient. Medium bodied with a smooth yet engaging mouthfeel. Exquisite.
