An amber coloured session IPA. The big tropical fruit notes in its aroma lead to a good balance of bitterness and malt flavours, with fruity notes and a clean, hoppy finish. Brewed exclusively for JD Wetherspoon at Adnams by Gary Lohin from Central City Brewers, Canada

Cask at Dragon Inn, Birmingham. Clear dark gold, white head with nice retention and lacing. Flavour has a pale malt with a hint of biscuit, lemon and lime, pine, flora. It's semi-dry, resonable bitterness with a slight resinous mouthfeel. Decent.

Cask at the Justice Mill, Aberdeen. It pours clear amber with a small frothy white cap. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sappy, oily, floral, sweet doughy bread, pine, pic n mix, iced gems and a twist of citrus fruit. The taste is dryish initially, bitter - sweet, sappy, oily, resinous, floral, peppery spice, waxy citrus, bitter peel, grapefruit and damp grass with a lingering bitter, resinous finish. Average body and limited carbonation. Could be done with a bit of carbonation lift, so sits heavier than it should. Nice bitterness for sure, but not as drinkable as I would have hoped.

Hand-pulled pint in a local Wetherspoon pub on 9th October 2024. Almost clear golden amber body, lasting white crown. Fruity aroma and taste, citrus leaning. Taste also has a slight piney and malty base for the citrussy fruits to blend with.
