Hazy yellow pour, with a medium white head. Dank stone fruit, tropical notes, dank and green hop cones, with some medicinal hebaciousness. Mouth feel is full, carb is soft. Lightly sweet, medium bitter, dank, and green, with a stone fruit background. Not bad, not great. .

Fairly clear deep copper and slight bronze coloured body with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall off-white head that fades fairly quickly and is a bit microfoamed, all over top of the 60 per cent opaque body. Aroma of alcohol, honey, flowers, yeast, bread and some strong oranges with a noticeable hit of alpha acid bitterness in the nose, too, of course. Full-bodied; Very rich body of malt and quite a bit of orange juice here, with some bread, yeast and some tropical fruit notes here as well, with a deep alcohol and richness from mangoes and papaya, that kicks out a lot of residual sugars, slightly cloying at the end. Aftertaste is rich, very strong and pungent with a deep bitterness that shows off the hops, especially the Azacca notes with some rustic and earthy breadiness here, but the rich fruits - mangoes, papaya and especially the cloying sugars and rich alcohol flavours define this one. Overall, a very strong and rich real Imperial IPA with some good hop bitterness, a solid rich malt backbone, but perhaps a bit too much alcohol and sugars that turn out to be cloying at the end. Nice to try and a good option, but strong, removing the Azacca would help me out with this one, but people must like this varietal?!? I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 29-November-2021 for US$4,29, with a 'best by' date of 11-April-2022 and sampled well before that, at my house here in Washington on 07-February-2022.

Can, 0.473l, shared with Adriano and Sabrina. Aroma is ripe tropical fruity, resinous, caramelly and floral. Pours cloudy dark golden color with thin quickly diminishing white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts moderate sweet caramelly and resinous, following is ripe tropical and stone fruity, citrusy and grainy, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Heavy hop bomb…

Hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy white head, decent retention and a trail of foamy lacing is left above the brew. Pineapple is the first thing I smell, expecting grassier, but no - with a base of orange juice, tangerine notes. So, very citrusy, and juicy for a TIPA. Alcohol is very well-hidden in the mouth, and less in the nose. The flavours are also quite on the citrus side - again, oranges and pineapples, hints of tropical fruits. Wow! This is going down very, very nicely.

Can: Poured a hazy yellow/orangey color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of hoppy undertones with light juicy notes and some citrus notes. Taste is a mix of juicy citrusy notes with some floral undertones and an overly sweet finish with some cloying notes. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation. A bit messy and overly cloying sweet.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Tangerine and mango aromas. Thick with pineapple, mango and passionfruit upfront turning to sweet melon in the lasting finish.

Cloudy orange body, thick cream head. Aroma dank, leafy, and grassy, with pear, white grape, and white tea. Gummy, doughy body, dank, with tea leaves, white pepper, and perfumy hops. Sweet but well-balanced.

A hazed blonde DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, citrus pulp, light tropical fruits, light sulfur, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with tropical fruits, resinous hops, light mango, very nice. Can from lcbo.
