Hoppy leads with fairly dominant bitterness, a little resin. You can feel the orange lurking in the back. Bready malt, barely sweet. Some tongue coating cilantro. Lingering bitterness with just a touch of hop burn. Can from Quebec thanks to my SIL.

Unibroue HIPL de Rivière-Trouble Hazy IPL 6.2% Deep orange gold with thick fluffy white foam and a very malty caramel with sharp citrus and pine aroma. Medium to full bodied, the taste matches the aroma but to be honest I feel it’s like an old skool heat damaged imported west coast IPA so I fear this is past date or something. Disappointing.

(Can) Pours hazy golden amber with loose off-white head. Aroma of orange and pine. Light body with bright carbonation. Taste of citrus and mango at the start, some subtle biscuit malt and then a nice hoppy bitter finish. Well balanced hoppy beer.

Pours murky dark gold into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Mango and overripe berry aromas. Thick and sharp with overripe strawberry and dirty mango peel front to back. Lasting pine and crushed pith finish. Nope.

Wow, quelle belle surprise! C'est du solide ça, un bel exemple de ce style hybride... Belle finale sèche, et juste parfaitement trouble.

Hazy golden-orange colour with a big frothy, slightly warm off-white head, good retention and leaving full dirty-foamy lacing. The nose is very grassy, more on the West-Coast IPA style with the East-Coast juiciness in the background. The hazy-juicy aspect comes out more in the flavours with citrus juices and zest notes. All soft-blended with oats. The bitterness builds up and the dryness, even more. A nice kick in the face for a lager.

A hazed orange amber lager with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with German hops, light mineral notes, light fruity esters, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous German hops, grapefruit pulp, pleasant.
