Can that pours a slight hazed amber colour with golden highlights. The head is frothy, fluffy, lightly beige coloured with decent retention and thick foamy lacing left. Malty nose base with caramel, light roasted barley and some grassy hops above it. The taste is quite hoppy for a brown ale, but the base is seen with the nuttiness, mild cereal and caramel maltiness. The finish is very dry, good bitterness lingering.

Can: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt notes with some light resinous notes. Taste is also dominated by deep caramelized malt notes with some resinous hoppy notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid brown ale with more character than your standard brown ale.

A red copper brown ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with herbal hops, light mineral notes, light treacle, pleasant. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with grassy hops, treacle, light coffee notes, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Chocolat, noisettes grillées, boisé, poivré et un peu de conifères composent l’essentiel de cet olfactif plutôt malté. Mousse généreuse, bien dense et de bonne tenue. Liquide brun aux reflets rubis, presque limpide et fortement effervescent. Les noisettes s’annoncent en premier en bouche et s’accommodent très bien des houblons aux notes d’orange et de résine de conifère. On dénote également quelques agrumes mais en général l’équilibre malt / houblon est extrêmement juste. Sont également présents un léger chocolat et un boisé assumé. L’amertume est forte et se compose de conifères et d’un peu de torréfaction et se prolonge en intensité pendant plusieurs secondes. Le corps est moyennement rond et l’effervescence bien active.
