Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt notes with some blakc chocolate notes. Taste is also amix of roasted malt notes with some blackchcolate notes and a mild bitter finish. Body is full for the style with good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Standard Russian imperial stout.

Dark brown colour with a little copper highlight. Beautiful aromas of the roasted malt base with soft dark fruits blended with apples and hints of vanilla. Cacao powder does come out with a touch of coffee. The head is frothy, slightly creamy, mocha-coloured, good retention for the high alcohol and some spots of lacing are left. The alcohol is well-hidden, with hardly any burning. Just a building bitterness, bite with some decent dryness in the finish. Roasted barley taste with some nicely balanced grassy hops in the end. Bitter chocolate lingers. Quite a nice Imperial Russian Stout that packs a punch.

O:6.05 V:4.5 G:7.8 C:3.65 G:14.95 T: 36.75
