Coolship Cerise Estate is aged on cherries sourced exclusively from our very own orchard behind the brewery. The beer is pale red in color with cherry and spice in the aroma. Cherry, oak and spice punctuate the flavor. A dry finish rounds out this tart and delightfully complex beer.

375ml bottle I picked up at the brewery, pours a clear garnet amber with a little pink head. Nose is big cherry, some fruit roll up, light funk, some rose water. Flavor is pomegranate and cherry, goji berries, some Lambrusco, some funny spice happening. Tart, medium acid finish.

Bottle. Poured a rich, mostly clear red color with a small sized off-white head. Aroma was cherry, light acid. Tart, but not overly sour. Flavor was cherry juice. Pleasant carbonation on this one.

I believe this was a 2019 bottle, drunk May 2021.
Clear, bright magenta-to-deep-brick-red with an off-white head that shows low-to-moderate retention.
Beautiful cherry notes in the nose are meaty and lush. Sourness is pretty restrained but still shows well-developed lactic character with malic acid from the cherries building complexity. Vanilla, honey, and soft tannin all smooth things over/balance nicely while no alcohol or flaw is noted.
Excellent sourness is neither too intense nor punchy/raw in the mouth. Lovely, authentic cherry character tastes like ripe black cherry with a bit more acidity, while oaky-vanilla and plentiful lactic acid add wonderful complexity to the finish. Malty and well-attenuated, as always, from Allagash with no flaw or alcohol.
