Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours darkest brown / black with a small white head. The aroma is roasted malt, soft, fruity, caramel, treacle and chocolate. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, treacle, syrupy, chocolate and malt loaf with a dry finish. Medium body, low carbonation and syrupy mouth-feel. A simple, but drinkable enough porter.
