Draught at the brewery, 9/16/17.
Shimmering, hazy-cherry pulp red with a small, fizzling, pink-tinged head atop.
Mostly tart cherry juice in the nose with grain, cracker, light lactic acid and a bit of black pepper or pit-like character. It's light, dry, fairly cherry-driven and not overly acidic/lactic, though it's a bit lacking on beer character, being mostly fruit acid from the nose.
In the mouth it's more of the same. More of a spritzy, lightly tart (mostly from the cherry) fruit beer with some astringency on the finish and a very sparse, cracker-like malt profile that, as with most of their beers, just needs a little more softness/depth to the malt. Otherwise, it's clean, vibrant, quenching/refreshing and well-done on the cherry aspect.

Pours a light amber from a tap, big tart sourness, very little cherry and a little wheat biscuit flavor, not much aroma. A little too tart without any additional rounding out in the mouth, but still a good beer.

Tap at Thirsty Moose Manchester Mostly clear burnt golden color without much of a head by the time it arrived at my table. Light lemony tart cherry aroma with faint bready malt. Sweet bread up front light lemony cherry flavor light lingering tartness in the finish. Not bad but not really all that tart.

Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours hazy old with prett much no head. The aroma is soft, sweet, grainy, vanilla, roasted pineapple, nectarine, candy and tinned fruit. The taste is crisp, tart, good mouth-pucker, sour pineapple, lemon sherbet, nectarine and a touch of acidity with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Prett bright and fruity (although not cherry!). A touch more condition would have been good. Nice.
