Clear pale amber color, small white head. Grainy, floral spicey aroma. LIght-bodied. Grainy, a bit fruity floral flavor. Some orange flavor. Pale maltyness. Quite English.

Cask pint in London on 19th July 2016 (Queens Head, Brook Green). End of the barrel and a bit out of condition. Decent looking amber body, but with a thin off-white head. Tropical fruits in the nose with light malts and a touch of spiciness. Taste was also fruity, mild malty and spicy. Pity I caught it last. My son had the pint before me and that was better than mine: he then had a second pint and we had to send it back, no problem with replacing it, but confirmed my thoughts about ’barrel end’..

Cask @ The Betjeman, London St Pancras. Golden-amber with a thin head. It has a very dry texture with a sugary fruitiness noticeable beyond this. Has some tropical fruitiness in its nose.

Bottle @ home shared by Joes. Clear lightly amber color, virtually no head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly a fruit hop influence, lightly floral, nice hop bitterness. Decent body and soft carbonation.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, minimally floral, hoppy aroma, notes of red and yellow apple, a touch of orange, minimally bready and biscuity, pale malty background. Taste is moderately dry hoppy, fruity hints of apple, green apple parings, mild red apple sweetness, cautious peppery spiciness. Clean and simple, a California Common resemblance comes to mind.

Cask at the Pommeler’s Rest, JDW - London. Pours clear copper-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Bland malty aroma, some leaves, bread. Light sweet flavor with very simplistic malt character, minimal hops, vague leaves, old berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bland finish, just some further bread, faint leather, earth, leafy hops. Really bland overall. Lowest common denominator kind of stuff.

Cask at The George, Croydon. It pours clear amber with a small, foamy white head. The nose is soft, sweet, dried fruits, floral notes, caramel and some jam. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy, floral, grass, light herbal accent, toasted grain, jammy fruits and a touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Fairly so-so. Not a bad beer, just pretty forgettable.

Cask Stillage@We Brought Beer, Balham during London Beer City Week (07/08/2015) amber pour with tiny white covering. Aroma and taste is fruity and malty, citrus notes, some caramel sweetness, herbal and grassy hoppy nuances going on, fair.
