We are thrilled to release Danelaw our Brown Ale brewed with Væskebalancen Bar & Bottleshop in Denmark.

A showcase of English Chevalier Malts, once the most proscribed malt in the brewing world. Rich and full of flavour this Brown Ale brewed with Danish friends is a nod to our shared past: A time when the parts of Viking ruled England were known as Danelaw.

Tap at Anspach and Hobday bermondsey taproom. A mostly clear reddish amber coloured pour with a lasting off white cap. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty malts, light spice, nutmeg, bark, cinnamon.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, bark, woody notes, autumnal leaves, light spicy. Nutmeg. Dusty grains. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Can @Beershoppe (Rome). Bruna, schiuma bianco sporca/écru media. Al naso note di caramella d'orzo, zucchero di canna, leggero tostato. In bocca è abboccata all'attacco con chiusura amara a bilanciare, ottima beva. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Eccellente.

Cask at the Kings Arms - Buckfast Street. Pours clear copper-brown with a small, foamy off-white head. Light sweet flavour with a little tangy semi-dark malts, berries, earth, toasted leaves. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Not great condition. Subtly tangy finish, a little old carpet, dirty berries and earth. Condition seem to be letting this beer down.
