Lovely ale. Clean pale bready malts, light bitter lemon rind, straw. Great condition. Crackers, iacuits, bitter hay and grassy accents. Massively drinkable.

Cask at Borough Arms, Crewe. Pours a pale straw with medium sized off-white head and good lacing. Is slow to settle but does so eventually. Aroma has melon, mango and hints of ginger. In the mouth it starts off slightly bitter with a creamy texture but the bitterness increases. Flavour has citrus and floral hops plus hints of biscuits. Later there are traces of grains, lemongrass and melon as well. This is reasonable.

Can at home picked up from marble online. As Draft a shiny session ale, 3.9%. A mostly clear straw gold coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is big earthy straw hay, rustic, grass, hedgerow hop, socks. Flavour is composed of green rustic cereals, straw, grain husk, grassy citrus, firm bitterness. Light metallic bite. Palate is crisp, grainy, highish carbonation little abrasive. Good stuff.

Hand pulled pint at the Pheasant Inn & Brewhouse on Sunday 16th November 2025. Mini haze to the light golden body, white crown on top. Subtle blend of UK hops and malts, easy drinking cask ale, but at 3.9% it seemed a little watered down and almost bland in nature. I actually enjoyed it (after a couple of citrus bombed beers in the Boot beforehand). Also had it in keg form in Pivni, York on 19th May 2026.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 28th September 2024. Slightly hazy gold with shallow foam and spot lacing. Fruity and tangy aromas with sweet malts. Bitter and grassy in-mouth with zesty peel and a bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Superb.
