330ml bottle (or was it 355ml? Probably) from Tesco. Pretend American ’hard’ cider, made in Preston. Pours hazy yellow. Sugary sweet aroma. Sugary apple laces in the taste with sweet green apple flesh.

355ml bottle from Tesco, Billingham. Cloudy pale yellow-white colour, short-lived bubby white foam head and aroma of apple, sweetener, sulphur. Flavour is sugary sweetness, with only a vague hint of apple and some underlying sulphur. Slick mouthfeel, light bodied, high carbonation, residual sweet and cardboardy finish. More sweet alcopop than a cider.
