330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, brown-ish ruby colour with a small ring of off-white bubbles. Sweet-ish malty and floral, minimally oak aroma, notes of marzipan, rose petals, powdered sugar. Taste is initially slightly sweet, sugary, caramel malty, floral hoppy, later more and more oaky, hints of marzipan and rose petals; well hidden alcohol, rather watery texture.

Bottle at Craft CG share thanks to Fergus it pours clear deep amber - brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sugary, oak, tangy fruits, brown bread, oiliness, perfumed and a touch of tinned mango. The taste is oily, sugary, toffee, quite a bit of tinned fruit character, tangerine, orange, mango, cointreau, toffee, oak and spice with some alcohol warmth through the finish. Medium to full body a d fine carbonation. Unusual for the style, but pretty good fun anyhow.

Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, yeast and fruit, with bitterish notes of hops and spice. Estery and spicy aftertaste with malty hints. Decent.

Bottle from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Hazy dark amber-brown with a thin head. Strong tasting with the barrel ageing very evident, giving the sticky-sweetness of the ale a good edge. Its strength is evident in its nose too.
