A deep copper-coloured ale, brewed with select international hops exquisitely balanced with layers of caramel. This sessional brew has notes of citrus peel, tea leaves and a clean, creamy finish.

473ml can from the lcbo. Clear dark copper pour, small white head. Right off the bat the aroma is strong on what to me is UK hops, this seems odd for a beer that claims to be a hop forward Apa. Pale Crystal malt, light breads and some minerals. Finish is lightly bitter with sole metallic minerals and more UK hop notes. Light grass, hints if skunk. A bit of a train wreck really.

Outlaw Brew-Co Bronco Copper Ale 5.6% Beautiful copper red with a thick beige head and a malty peppery aroma. Medium to full bodied with a nice malty flavor featuring biscuit and tobacco on top of a caramel base. It has a great balance. Good stuff. Ar 7 t 8 p 4 ap 4 o 13 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper Ale is the billing, and copper ale is exactly how it looks. But... There is that dusty mildly burnt malt taste that seems to crop up in a brew here and there, which, well tastes poor. Otherwise it's a good level of sweetness with the malt. But...

Oh boy, this smells bad. Yeasty banana aromas with some diacetyl caramel-butter notes and some rusty water. The taste is slightly better, but still not well-blended with the hops helping a little in the finish. Some roasted notes with mild caramel and hints of bananas. Not one I would have again. Clean amber colour with a beige bubbly head. All-over the place.

Can from the LCBO. Clear dark copper under a small quick fading khaki head. Nose is caramel, brown sugar, fruit and roast. Flavour is light+ sweet brown sugar with only a hint of grassy hop bitterness and a strong metallic tang. Mouth is slightly thin with quite soft carbonation. ’Nuff said. 6-/3/5-/3-/11-

This ale poured a deep amber colour with a light tan coloured, foamy head. Scents include candy, malt and a wee bit of smoke. First swig was a bit watery but nice malty flavours. Other flavours of smoke, oats and toast. Finish is lightly bitter with toasty malts lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
