A hazed golden weizen with a thick collapsing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity banana malt with cloves and sulfur notes, OK but average. In mouth, sweet fruity banana malt with cloves, powdery mouth and light mineral notes, watery bodied, OK. Can from LCBO.

Can: Poured a hazy pale yellow color ale with a light foamy head with minimal lacing. Aroma of medium wheat malt notes with limited ester. Taste is also dominated by wheat malt notes with no real bubble gum notes and limited ester and a dry finish. Body is light with OK carbonation. Unfortunately this one is a bit too bland for my taste buds.

Can at the Ottawa Beerfest. 2 tickets. An opaque straw gold with an earthy, cardboard and light clove weizen aroma.  A very spritzy light body that feels refreshing. The taste is banana, mild cloves & a kind of bready cardboard not bad. A mild weizen, a style that isn’t so represented at a summer time Beerfest.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy pale yellow with a one finger white head that quickly disappears leaving a sheet. Aroma of wheat, bananas, cloves and light lemon. Mildly sweet start with spice appearing later and dominant. Taste is much lighter than the nose. Mouth is light and thin with soft carbonation. Nice but not outstanding.

Second release from this brewer, but fifth one to try from them, as just released in cans. Pours a mild hazy light-golden colour with a white froth head, average retention and hardly any lace. Belgian Ale yeast aromas with the spiciness of clove and the notes of bananas from the wheat. Also, hints of alcohol and grainy corn malt. The taste is quite milder with a little spicy banana cereals. Seems a little off on this one. Just needs to be balanced a little better.
