The Queen of Diamonds is an ostentatious continuously hopped IPA. Hops are added continuously throughout the boil, developing a complex citrus flavour and fresh bitter edge.

Bottle picked up from Tesco, consumed at home whilst cooking Smoky Frittata, from Plenty Cookbook Tuesday 26th February 2019 and listening to Marc Riley, Evening Session, 6Music. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Fruity though cannot easily discern the flavour. It's fine but just a little thin. It's ok.

Bottle from Tesco Supermarket, Borehamwood. Golden with a small frothy-bubbly head. Mostly hoppy but there's a strong enough citrus aroma and taste to it.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a loose white head. Lively carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of lemon and green apple. Flavour of grass and grapefruit peel with a bright, bitter finish. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. This (unexpectedly) reminded me of lighter version of Duvel’s Triple Hop Citra - it’s similarly clean, fizzy and bright.

[33cl bottle from Tesco, Amersham.] A hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; tropical fruit aroma; thin the mouth with a weakish tropical fruit taste; and an off sweet finish.

Bottle from Sainsbury's. Medium golden with a mild haze, big active head subsides to a bubbly, foamy cap. Aroma comes in with some big bready, grainy notes. taste continues with more malt and a very mild hop presence. Floral, yeasty, spicy

Nose is yeast, ripe mango, wheat, lime, lilt, peach. Taste is under-powered compared to the nose; mineral, tropical fruit, light mango, grapefruit, lime. Pleasingly dry body and finish. Thin mouthfeel. Meh.
