Keg. A golden murky appearance with a strong flavour of fruity and piney hops and minimal malt. It was served quite cold and the flavours and aromas developed as the pint warmed. The beer was good, but there is no way you can say it was value for money.

Inviting unclear orange golden color with a fine white head. Lovely pine, mild tropical and grapefruit hoppy aroma. Medium body and a smooth carbonation. Lovely fresh bitterness. Semi dry texture. Tasty grapefruit hoppy, tropical fruity and pine in the flavor. Yummi.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Either needs to be aliased to The Kernal Pale Ale Centennial Amarillo or the ABV difference and name change means it’s a new beer. Hazy dirty gold/amber. Lasting thick ivory head. Rather a good mouthfeel. Tangerine and grapefruit aroma. Good hops throughout, good bitterness on the finish. A little earthiness from the centennials. Drinkable APA. Aroma is good, condition is good. Perhaps my recent cold has ruined my hop sense as this seems a little sharp on the hops as well. Oh well. Good though.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. 5.3% ABV version. Gold slight haze lasting off white head. Big massive grapefruit aroma. Tasty pale ale. Decent pale malts and then this layer of citrus fruit over the top. Just so easy drinking. Watching Anderson and Moeen Ali trying to save the 2nd test vs Sri Lanka. Another good apa from The Kernel

Bottle all to myself at home picked up at the brewery. As Kernel Pale Amarillo Centenniel 5.5% Translucent / hazy golden orange coloured pour with a lasting frothy off white head. Aroma is nice big lychee tropical fruit, passion fruit, spicy citrus, peach melba. A little biscuity cereal on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of grainy cereal, touch of caramel, orange rind, passion fruit and spicy citrus lemon hops. Palate is medium light body, spritzy carbonation, very dry finish, maybe a little thin. Solid pale ale. Assertive slightly pithy citrus hop btterness.

Bottle from BEER:shop, consumed at home. 5.3%. Orangish yellow, hazy. Orange and lemon, peel, pineapple, spruce. Bittersweet taste, with a citrusy sweetness that stays with you throughout the finish and aftertaste. Proper. Palate is a bit watery but otherwise a nice simple wonderful treat.
