Box @ Black Bull Inn, Bangor. Golden-blonde cider. Smooth tasting, with a better stated apple in its taste than you get from its nose, but it’s pretty good in both. There’s a dryness too which comes to the fore in its aftertaste.

500ml bottle from Tuffins, Craven Arms. Pours clear gold, light ring of bubbles. Aroma is soft apple fruit, apple tart. Taste is smooth, luscious medium cider, clean drinking and although a little simplistic is a perfectly fine, very lightly sweet, refreshing summer cider. Earlier Rating: 7/10/2016 Total Score: 3.9Box @ Montgomery’s Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold with a sweet, ripe apple aroma. Taste is quite sweet but very juicy with a vibrant fruity medium cider character and soft tannins. Very nice.
