(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 24 July 2019) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with caramel, orange peel and apricots. Malty, slightly fruity tast with notes of apricots, orange peel, caramel and a balanced earthy/citric bitterness in the finish. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Quite nice.

Cask at CP&K, 13/06/19. Lightly hazed golden amber with a well presented egg shell white covering. Nose is biscuit malts, hint of sulphur, grains, dull fruits. Taste comprises biscuit, brown bread, dried fruits, grains, malty bite. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with balanced bitterness. Decent enough bitter … would have scored higher but I didn't get along with the nose !
