A hazed milky yellow DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light dank notes, loads of tropical fruits, light citrus, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, tropical fruit, light coconut, alcohol warmth, citrus pulp, very nice. On tap at Hautes Plaines location.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 19 Feb 2025) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with peaches, mango, pineapple and orange. Fruity taste with notes of orange, peaches, mango, pineapple, white bread and a gentle citric/herbal bitterness in a sweetish finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Soft malt, on the sweet side. Rich, fruity and juicy. Very nice.

Opaque orange juice pour, with a large white head. Aroma is pithy citrus zest, mango, grapefruit, and pine apple. Silly mouth feel, soft carb, medium bitter. Lemon, and orange zesty finish. Excellent.

Hazed golden-amber colour with a frothy-creamy white cap, good stay and full foamy-creamy lacing. Pineapple aromas over some orange juice, other citrus zest, hints of mango and coconut. A little more on the fruitier side with the dryness being tamed down. Flavours are lots of the same found in the nose. Some bitterness does build a little. Quite a nice juicy, sweeter than bitter-dryer, Double IPA.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours rather milky yellow-gold with a thick white head that's pretty stable and leaves lace. Both aroma and flavour are super floral and lime-forward as you'd expect from the Motueka-only bill with a hearty white grape core, lime peel and some slightly sugared juice, softly doughy malt, flowers that are fresh and potpourri-free, softly sweet at best with a dry finish, lots of lime into the finish too with a hint of it candied, very little bitterness and pepperiness, floral lime into the aftertaste. Medium-plus body, soft to moderate creamy carbonation. Showcases Motueka very well just as you'd expect, and the mouthfeel was great. Whether through age or just design, I found it a bit light overall however and I was hoping for more saturation/kick to make it next level.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of juicy notes with some citrusy floral undertones and light tropical notes. Taste is also a mix of juicy hoppy notes with some citrusy and tropical floral undertones with light residual sugar notes and a dryer finish than expected. Solid double NEIPA.
