Cask gravity at the Pig's ear beer festival 05/12/2017. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is honey, grass, hedgerow, grassy, sileage. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, honey, hegerow hop, bitter grassy hop . Palate is grassy, low grainy, moderate cask condtion.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017, day 1 - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds pale grains, lemon rind. Lights sweet flavour, harsh and bitter, with lots of grass, citrus peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Strong, aggressive bitterness in the finish, prominent grass - and little else. Unbalanced.

Cask at Pig's Ear 2017. It pours clear deep amber with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, toasty grain, porridge, wood and a touch of citrus. The taste is dry, bitter, a bit floral, grassy, toasty grain, pithy lemon and soda water. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot to it. Drinkable enough but forgettable.

Cask (gravity) @ 34th Pig's Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2017, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.

[ As Colchester Freak Show ].
ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171206]

Cask gravity at The Ale House Colchester. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige head. A best bitter. Some rich malt sweetness. Light dusty bitterness on the finish. Ok condition and temperature.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Light haze on this amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts. Harshly bitter orange peel and citric peel. Bitter finish. Quite harsh.
