Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 20th September 2010. Orangey-amber - almost Lucozade colour - and a thin white, partial lacing foam head. Yeasty aroma, touch of cheesiness and a few light hops in the main kick. Then citric and rather fruity. Citric theme maintained in a medium-length finish on a zingy mouthfeel.

(Cask at Old Fountain, Old Street, London, 3 aug 2010) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and grassy hops. Fruity, slightly malty nose with apricots, citrus, grainy malt and generous doses of grassy hops in the finish. Rather thin body, with some sweetness. A bit thin in the malt department, but nice and tasty hop character.

15th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear gold beer. No head, no carbonation. Semi dry palate. Reasonably well balanced. Bitterish orange with a trace of apple. Finishes very dry. Nice enough flavour but too dry and too flat.
