Super tasty and super sessionable! We've dropped a tonne of fresh Citra and Mosaic hops late in the kettle. Then more of both these supercharged green flavour monsters in for a late dry hop..... For a 3.8 percenter, this is one hell of a session beer!
DRINKING NOTES:
If you like Citra and Mosaic, you'll love this beer. Refreshing and fruity with a slight bitterness. It's an easy drinking session beer, but has the satisfying hop hit of a much stronger ale.
THE CAN ART:
This is the new incarnation of this can. Our guardian is the protector of nature itself. He signifies strength, power and leadership which represent the strength of the hops in the beer. Sitting under an autumnal sky, and presiding over all the seasons. This guys is not to be messed with. He's a bit more menacing than our previous guardian.... We saw this image as a sketch by Max Rock and just knew we needed to put him on a can.

Cask at Flowerpot, Derby. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Has a strong aroma of lemon, hay and hops. Hops to the fore in the mouth, along with lemon, orange and a hint of pineapple. Finish is more bitter than would be expected from the taste – but not overwhelming. I was surprisingly impressed with this beer – not the sort I would normally go for at all.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 11th October 2019. Slightly hazy amber with shallow, loose, non-lacing foam. Malty aroma. Lemony citrus in-mouth with tart berry fruits. Citrus zest and biscuit malts shape a vibrant finish. A smooth texture and light body.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co St Mary Axe, London, 23 Nov 2018) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, mixed fruit and pears. Malty, fruity taste with peaches, pears, bread, soft malt, grass and a mild floral bitterness. Light body, with a slight sweetness. Mild and gentle, but fairly tasty. Quite enjoyable.

Handpull cask at the Roundhouse, Nottingham. Golden and clear. The sizeable white head dissipates quickly, leaving a layer of lacing. Aroma has gooseberry, grapefruit, some pineapple with a light maltiness backing it up. Taste is bitter with a heavy vegetal note. Not sure if it's the beer or the condition it's in. This note fades mid-sip leaving a gentle bitterness on the tongue. Oily body. Decent.
