Cask at Bank of Conwy, Conwy. Aroma is low key. Slightly boozy fruit. Clear dark gold. Foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Slightly resinous/quinine. Underlying malts and grains. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Bitter but ultimately unexciting.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 17 May 2023) Hazy amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with toast, apricots and earthy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of toast, apricots, orange peel, resin and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 19th May 2023. Clear golden amber with shallow, loose foam and scant lacing. Nutty malts in aroma. Berry fruits and nuttiness in-mouth, and a finish of orchard fruits with a touch of bitterness on the upper rear mouth. Light bodied with a smoothish mouthfeel.

24th July 2019, Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival in St Mary's Church. Cask. Slight haze to the light golden body, white top. The Mosaic hops did their thing, so plenty of citrus and piney notes in both the nose and taste. Not a big fan of 'single hop' beers but this was fine.

Keg @ Station. Pours gold, medium white topping. Unfortunately became clear very quickly that this is suffering from quite a serious diacetyl problem, lots of thornton's toffee on the nose, lots of butterscotch to taste. There is some underlying mosaic hop, but generally this is undrinkable. Will have to re-rate a future batch.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 8/9/2015. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Aroma of pineapple and blueberry fruits, with a hint of green herb and grassy hops. Flavour had plenty more fruit, some short cake sweetness and a dryish finish with a hint of pine. Very good.
