500ml bottle. Pours clear golden-amber, no head. Aroma of sweet apple juice. Taste is sweet, eating apples, apple skins, light tart tang, slightly dry finish. Light-medium body. Ok but nothing special, and certainly not hazy in any way.

Bottle at the Falcon, Wycombe. Orange-gold, negligible fizz. Nice tangy eating apples flavour up front - think Braeburns. A touch of bittersweet apple skin too. Overall medium-sweet but with a hint of dryness in the finish. Decent for a mass-market bottled cider.

On 23rd Jan 2020 I decided to change all my 34 'ticks' for no-beers into rates. Every 'tick' scored a '3', this will not change as they become 'rates'. My 'ticks' were Ciders, Meads, Perrys and Sake. This is a cider!

Bottle at PoW, Farnborough. No new beer ticks so reduced to a bottled cider - at least it's a homecounty tick. Sweet slightly chemical saccharine apple aroma. Bright amber. The white head just rings the rim. Initial sour hit but sugary sweepness then sweeps through. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carb. Low key finish - long but ghostly. Really drinkable sweet cider. It's just got no character to it.

Bottle from the Regal, Cambridge. Deep gold, clear and with intermittent head. Light tangy smell. There were definitely some apples involved in this, but that’s added relatively little to the somewhat artificial aroma. Taste is improved with a sweetness kept in check by a subtle tart cider tang. Lightly carbonated finish. Passable bordering on good.
