Lord Hobo Woburn draught, 10/10/25.
Clear, amber-tan. Small, beige head.
Smells like real pumpkin, with soft vanilla and lightly sweet malt.
Spicy with big spice dryness and a light, almost thin body. There is some actual real pumpkin flavor, but not adding much of interest past that.

16 oz. can. Pours a clear, amber color, with a big, foamy, tan head. The nose is nutmeg, sweet potato, caraway, and dusty yeasty bread. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, savory bitterness. Light to medium body, chewy, and biting. Pretty nice, easy, and spicy.

Pint can. Ginger aroma with notes of pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and some caramel malt. Pours clear copper-orange colored with a thin tan head that has little retention and some lacing. Starts with pumpkin, clove, allspice and nutmeg flavors. Finishes smooth with caramel malt, ginger and cinnamon. Pretty good pumpkin beer.

Can from Julios. Labor Day weekend i reckon is fine spot for first pumpkin ale of the season. Clear copper colored body with fine foamy beige header. Nose is some squash and allspice. Tatses of allspice and cinnamon, pumpkin is light, some cardboard box, cherries. Medium bodied

5 oz draft. Medium amber color. Aroma is nutmeg and all-spice. Gourd is very faint in the flavor. Thankfully the spice is not overpowering. About what you expect for a standard pumpkin ale.

Nice and ever so slightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish tan head that fades pretty quickly and leaves a thin lace on top of the fifteen per cent opaque body - nice look though! Aroma of allspice, canella and strong squash notes with a great emphasis on the spices along with some light sugars here, but this really is spice-forward in a nice way without much depth or complexity in the nose. Light to barely Medium-bodied; Some pungent allspice, canella, nutmeg and anise flavours show at first in a nice way that is balanced just enough with some deeper biscuity and slightly grassy malt notes with a good deal of sweetness here as well, but the squash body and especially the deep spice elements really define this one. Aftertaste shows some of the malt complexities with some squash and pumpkin pungency along with a strong dryness and spice components, but some caramelised sugar, toffee and nutty sweetness shows stronger at the end. Overall, a nice and well-rounded, spicey, sweet and malty beer that has some great aspects and perhaps even better complexity, all while still only clocking in at 4,2 per cent ABV somehow. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Altamonte Springs, Florida on 01-January-2023 for US$2,79 sampled at my house here in Washington on 14-February-2023.

16 oz. can from Bier Cellar, Portland, Maine. Pours a cloudy dark orange-bronze color with a large khaki head and great retention. Good lacing too. Light pumpkin spices aroma. Tastes like an amber lager with light pumpkin spices added. Not a spice bomb. The flavor comes across as natural. Medium body and light carbonation. Zero bitterness. Clean and smooth, and repeatable.
