Sorachi can be a tricky mistress, and many shy away from it. But not team Wylam, our stoic Geordies laugh in the face of sorachi! Dill, actual dill on the nose, along with lemongrass and some spice. A mildly creamy mouthfeel with some slight sweetness from the malt and more of that good herbaceous coriander and lemon action. Yes please!

Keg @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Amber-orange with a creamy-frothy head. Fruity with a sugary-sweet character, and its strength is apparent, but not obvious.

Keg at the Eebria Taproom - Bermondsey. Pours gold with a dense, white foam head. The nose holds citrusy hops, pale bread. Medium sweet flavour with more pale malts, tangerine, faint vanilla. Medium bodied with average carbonation and creamy texture. Lightly resinous on the finish, with a bit of orange rind. Good one.

Keg at eebria. It pours clear orange - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is stinky, green veg, bubblegum, pink marshmallow, candy and stone fruits. The taste is crisp, bitter, spicy, grassy, straw, floral, soapy lemon and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly. Good for a sorachi beer.
