Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham on 12th December 2025. Crystal clear copper with shallow, loose dull foam and scant lacing. Spiced maltiness in aroma. Zesty citrus peel and caramel malts in-mouth, and a finish of bitter peel and sweet malts.smooth mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

Fra cask på Mossy Well: klar dyp gylden med fint skum som varer. Fin aroma og god smak preget av Bavaria Mandarina, en av mine favoritthumler. God bitterhet i avslutningen.

330ml bottle. Poured a murky orange amber colour with a short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is malt, orange citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet with a grainy malt, buttery yeast, light tart citrus fruit palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

33cl bottle from Budgens, Sunningdale, at 4.7% ABV. A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a billowing cream coloured head; lovely mandarin aroma; quite lively in the mouth with a mellow orange taste and a strong straw-like bitterness giving a well-balanced body; then a dry, but rather thin, long-lasting finish. This is definitely one of my favourite hops.

Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading. Hazy orange-amber with a small white head. A light orangey flavour with sweet malts, caramel and a little toast. Very smooth but lacks oomph. It’s like sweet industrial marmalade on toast- I would prefer a darker, more bitter home-made marmalade on my toast please.
