Late Star is a classic British ESB, with a deep orange colour. The carefully selected English hops present a bouquet of Lemon and Grass with Marmalade and Caramel coming through on the tongue. The bottle conditioning works to present this beer in its purest form.

Bottle, small long lasting creamy head, clear deep orange with brown taints, malty nutty cake aroma, flavor of caramel, nuts and cake with a hint of dark fruits and honey and a light to medium bitterness. Nice and true to the style.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours clear copper-gold with a small, foamy off-white head; lightly effervescent. Lovely bready character, some British yeast, golden raisins, lightly toasted biscuits, a little honey and caramel. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, more sweet bready malts, a little toasted sugar, very slight leafy hops. Enjoyable tipple.

330ml bottle Sophies Beer Store. Clear Amber, foamy white head. Looks like it shouldve been poured in a dimple glass with a handle. Aroma sweet malt. Taste is perhaps sweeter and more perfumed than first envisaged. Light bitter tickle. Really quite flavoursome as far as ESBs go. Reckon this would pack a punch on cask.
