Keg at Mother Kelly's Bethnal Green - London. Pours clear gold with a tight, creamy white head. Nice biscuity aroma, hints of hay and lemon. Light sweet flavour with nice pale bread character, crackers and biscuits, low bitterness, touches of straw, citrusy/lemony accents. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, more pale bread, biscuits, hay. Solid, easygoing kolsch.

[ As Barrier Icculus Kölsch ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, pale malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, hay, straw. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170511] 6-3-7-3-13

Draught at Rbabarrab. Hazy, grey-golden body. Filmy white layer, spotty lacing. Nobel hops and grainy nose. Taste of pale malts, noble hops and a citric touch. Clean and crispy in the mouth. Refreshing. (Copenhagen 11.05.2017).

Draught @ Ted’s Corner Tavern. Faintly cloudy dark yellow with large foamy off-white head, very faint sweet malt aroma, high carbonation, lightly sweet malty taste with some bread, thin body, abrupt finish. Nice fresh beer
