Definitely the punchiest citrus-based IPA from the Bicycle folks. A well-laced pillowy white head on an unfiltered light caramel body. The nose is citrus and pine hops with a hint of honey. Trying it straight up with the Velocipede IPA highlights the strengths of this 6.6% ABV (not 5.3%) IPA. Fresh Pine, punchy grapefruit and orange are lead elements in the hop profile. A solid density, appropriate carbonation and a touch of honey in the malt all balance well. Really tasty.

Can: Poured a hazy pale yellow ale with a medium size white foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of juicy citrusy hoppy notes with light tropical fruit notes. Taste is a good mix of tropical fruit notes with citrusy notes, some floral undertones with some residual sugar notes and a dry finish. Body is full with nice creamy texture with good carbonation. Well brewed overall but maybe tad dryer then I was expecting.

Enjoyed a glass at brewery. Pours a cloudy golden-beige colour with a white cap and creamy lacing. Smells very juicy like a Vermont-style with lots of citrus juices and fresh herbs. Citrusy taste with the cereal grains coming out nicely. Beautiful yeast lingers. Nice dry bitterness. A very refreshing, dry, citrusy but hoppier for the style. All very well-brewed.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light clover, nice and smooth. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with loads of citrusy mandarine hops, orange pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. On tap at Vip brewery market event, April 24 2017.
