0,5 l bottle from Meny Blåvand. BB 11.07.2029. Pitch black in the glass, one finger foamy beige head. Looks really good. Malty on the nose with a lot of smoke, bacon and peat. Tastes the same with dominating malt. Behind the smoky elements dark fruity parts. Some sweet licorice. Balanced stuff. Very low carbonation. Soft bitterness. Nice one.

Bottle 500ml @ Sommerhuset. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, ash and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate and licorice finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

8-4-8-4-16 Bottle, nine months before bbd. Pours black, with a creamy mocha head. Aroma is roasted malts with tobacco, liquorice and notes of coffee, as well as whisky and wooden barrels. Full, velvety body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with dark bread, liquorice, muscovado and tobacco, as well as dark chocolate, tannins and whisky barrels. Dry finish.

Shared bottle at home. Pours dark brown to black with almost no head. Aroma of bacon, liquorice, dark chocolate, caramel, some ethanol, little whisky. Taste has a lot of umami; some sweetness, little bitterness, but overall balanced. Medium bodied. A nice version of the Limfjordsporter.

500mL bottle, courtesy of fonefan (thanks a lot, Jan), pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is pretty smoky, with peaty, earthy smoke, medium roast and oaky whiskey barrels. Flavour is dry, smoky and oaky, with medium roasted malt, lots of smoke, peat, and earthiness. Dry, peaty and smoky finish. Excellent.

Thy Whisky Fad 49. Bottle 0.5l, trade with Camons, many thanks! Two years aged. Almost clear, red to black colored. AROMA- toasted, bread crusts, lactic and cream, coffee, chocolate, nice alcohol, plums. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately bitter, peated, whiskey, dark chocolate, coffee, wood, plums, raisins. Fuller bodied. Really good.

Bottle. Whisky Fad 49. It pours a nice dark beige head over a black body. Nice lacing. The aroma has licorice, roasted malts and some burnt malts, coffee hints and a good dash of whiskey and alcohol. It's full-bodied, warming and nicely carbonated, semi-sweet, wtih lots of dark flavor. Roasted malts, coffee, burnt notes, prunes, some dark chocolate and a pleasant whisky touch. Woody hints and some ham. Everlasting finish. Really nice this one. 211126
