This porter poured a very deep red colour with a creamy , tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include coffee, roasted malt, little smoke and wine, and a hint of cocoa. First swig was pretty good. Flavours of burnt toast, coffee, cocoa, smoke and a little cardboard. Finish is really roasted malt with coffee flavours lingering.

Pretty decent porter. Pours black with decent head and lacing. Aroma of light coffee and roast malt, with some hints of caramel without being overdone. Thick, creamy texture. Finishes with light sweetness and bitterness, in good balance. Like this but probably still prefer the Vanilla Stout by a smidgeon. Tap at Quinn’s.

Pours a dark brown colour with some red highlights. Tanned head that goes down quickly, but leaves a creamy coating on the brew, with minimal lacing. Sweet toffee nose with hints of bananas mixed with the caramel malts. Medium-bodied with light creaminess and decent stickiness. Mild roasted malts with caramel notes. Not much coffee felt here. Little burnt malts slightly lingers. Does get better as it warms up (and with food), but seems like a light stout more than a coffee porter. Mild dark fruits eventually come out.

A dark brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light vanilla, no coffee. In mouth, sweet mocha caramel with smooth chocolate, Ok.
